Terms and Conditions:

These terms and conditions sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the Amistat Group website (“Website” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”). This Agreement is legally binding between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and this Website operator (“Operator”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this Agreement, in which case the terms “User”, “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this Agreement, you must not accept this Agreement and may not access and use the Website and Services. You acknowledge that this Agreement is a contract between you and the Operator, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your use of the Website and Services. The following Terms & Conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) apply to all Amistat Group events. Prior to your registration, you must acknowledge and accept the Terms & Conditions contained herein. Should you not wish to accept the Terms & Conditions you should not register. Submission of a registration is regarded as affirmation of your acceptance of the Event Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms:

Payment is due in full is required within five (5) business days from the registration date and includes lunches, refreshments and detailed conference materials. Full Payment must be received prior to the conference date, otherwise Amistat Group reserves the right to reject attendance of the event.

Substitution, Cancellation and Postponement Policy:

All registrations carry 50% cancellation liability once signed registration form has been received by Amistat Group.

Substitute delegates are welcome at any time providing adequate notice, typically three (3) business days. No extra charges will be imposed.

Considering that the full payment is already received by Amistat Group and the client is unable to attend, cancellations shall be received in writing not less than ten (10) days prior to the conference, the client will receive a 80% credit note valid for 1 year to be used at any other event held by Amistat Group within one year from the date of issuance of such credit. Amistat Group is obliged to inform the client of the upcoming events. 20 % of the registrations fees will be retained by as a registration processing charges. The client will still receive the documentation package of the conference regardless of the attendance status.

Should Amistat Group postpone or cancel an event for any reason, the registered client will receive a 100% credit note valid for one year to be used at any other Amistat Group event within 12 months from the date of issuance of such a credit note.

Amistat Group is obliged to inform the client of the new dates of the postponed event and the other upcoming events.

Amistat Group carries no liability because of such postponement or cancellation. Further claims are excluded.

Copyright:

All Intellectual Property rights in all materials produced or distributed by Amistat Group in connection with our event is expressly reserved and any unauthorized duplication, know-how, trademarks, registered designs, publication or distribution and inventions provided by Amistat Group is strictly prohibited and will be governed in accordance with the law of the Czech Republic and EU.

Data Privacy and Protection:

The customer consents that the data submitted in the registration form are correct, the data will be treated as highly confidential, will be kept and used only by Amistat Group.

Amistat Group is obliged not publish, distribute, sell or make them available to any other parties.

Amistat Group claims that it protects personal data in accordance with the regulation EU 2016/679 GDPR

By registering for one of our events, you give us permission to keep you informed of future events and content within your field of interest unless you chose something else on the registration form itself.

We will only send the relevant information (by email, or phone).

Force Majeure:

Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing and every effort will be made to adhere to the advertised package, unpredictable circumstances might force substitutions, or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. Amistat Group reserves the right to modify the panel of speakers and/or topics whenever seen necessary without any liability whatsoever.

Amistat Group is obliged to notify any substitutions or alterations to the event agenda and the website. Further claims are excluded.

Amistat Group carries no liability whatsoever in the case of extraordinary circumstances, such as and not limited to, Act of God, natural disasters, war, flood, extreme weather that hinders performance of the event in the condition impossibility or impracticality.

Governing law and disputes:

The formation, interpretation, and performance of this Agreement and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed and construed by the substantive and procedural laws of Czech Republic without regard to its rules on conflicts or choice of law and, to the extent applicable, the laws of Czech Republic. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the courts located in Czech Republic, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. Application of the rules regarding conflicts between legal systems and the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods (Vienna Sales Convention) is explicitly excluded and does not apply to this agreement.

Indemnification:

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them as a result of or relating to your Content, your use of the Website and Services or any willful misconduct on your part.

Severability:

All rights and restrictions contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Agreement illegal, invalid or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.

Limitation of liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Operator, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers or licensors be liable to any person for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, cover or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, revenue, sales, goodwill, use of content, impact on business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity) however caused, under any theory of liability, including, without limitation, contract, tort, warranty, breach of statutory duty, negligence or otherwise, even if the liable party has been advised as to the possibility of such damages or could have foreseen such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of the Operator and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors relating to the services will be limited to an amount greater of one dollar or any amounts actually paid in cash by you to the Operator for the prior one month period prior to the first event or occurrence giving rise to such liability. The limitations and exclusions also apply if this remedy does not fully compensate you for any losses or fails of its essential purpose.

Prohibited uses:

You are prohibited from using the Website and Services or Content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Website and Services, third party products and services, or the Internet; (h) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (i) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (j) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Website and Services, third party products and services, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Website and Services for violating any of the prohibited uses.

Permission to use the Company Logo or Trademarks:

You As a partner company of Amistat Group, any speaker partner (“the Company”) hereby gives permission for Amistat Group to use its company logo or registered mark for website information purposes connected with the business of Amistat Group. It is understood that Amistat Group may use said logo or mark for information purposes relating to the Amistat Group’s on-going events. It is further understood that Amistat Group may use such a logo or mark in connection with events, speakers, social media announcements, or symposiums, regardless of whether the Company is a sponsor of said event. Amistat Group will also use the Company logo or mark in outgoing marketing e-mails or brochures, and may use the Company’s logo or mark for these purposes without further permission or acquiescence by the Company, and the Company hereby releases Amistat Group from all liability relating to the publication or use of the logo/mark on its website. The Company understands and agrees that, if the Company discontinues its partnership with Amistat Group, there may still be published materials in use and existence that relate to Amistat Group and that reflect the Company’s logo or registered mark. Amistat Group will use adequate efforts to replace and update such published materials periodically.

Media, Photos & Filming:

For promotional purposes, photos and video recordings may or will be taken during the conference. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise us in writing prior to the event.

Complaints:

If you have any questions or complaints of any nature, please send us email with a description of the issue, please be assured that you will be contacted in 24 hours with a resolution that will make you satisfied.
